Is there a nicer guy than Ed Sheeran? When Ed heard that we were helping to organise a special wedding for two of our deserving listeners, Matt and Kya, and that they had chosen one of his songs for their wedding dance he offered to come and surprise them and give them a wedding gift they will never forget. Congratulations to Matt and Kya we hope you both find the happiness you deserve. And Ed Sheeran, well, we just love you!
Maria Holand Tøsse surprised everyone and especially her beloved one Ronny Eidsvik, when she went down the aisle singing in Alesund Church. Not to talk about her dad Charles Tøsse that topped it all with his singing to the groom. It was all accompanied by great singers and musicians.
He even NAILED the ending!!! Wow! My husband, Michael, had been planning to sing a song to me that I had put on a mix CD I had made him when we first started dating - "I'm Your Man" sung by Michael Buble. Judging from my reaction, you can see that I had NO IDEA that it was coming! He had been singing it around the house leading up to the big day whenever I was not around. I didn't even know that he knew the song or that he remembered that I had even made him that mix! He said that when I first played the song for him I mentioned it would be amazing if a girl had this sung to her on her wedding. I guess he was REALLY listening! This was recorded at The Canfield Casino in Saratoga Springs by Niki Rossi Photography and the singer is my husband, Michael McGuirk.
Weddings are so much more memorable for the bride and groom with these little surprises. I think it's very romantic!

ReplyDeleteI tried to sing to my wife at our wedding. Was not perfect, and when I could not reach the high note (musician had the wrong key), I just took her to the dance floor to dance to the rest of the song. :-)

ReplyDeleteThis reminds me of the Maroon 5 music video where they went to as many weddings as possible all over LA in one day to surprise the bride and the groom with a performance. What a sweet surprise!
